Last weekend in Rexburg

So Rexburg is one of the funnest places to be! There are so many fun people that I completly LOVE!! On Friday I went to a murder mystery dinner party. It was a lot of fun! I was Dianna Ross. I had never been to one of these partys so it was a really fun new experience! After I got home my roomate was sleeping so a neighbor and I decided we wanted to prank her. Erin (my room mate) has a phobia of Aliens so we found a balloon and drew an alien face on it. We also put a light behind the balloon to make the alien head glow. Erin was a little scared when we walked in and stood by her bed but not scared enough. We're still working on our pranking skills ;) Saturday I went to this gorgeous place called Monkey rock. It was a little pond with a waterfall flowing into it. There was a place to jump off of the waterfall which probablly was the funnest part! We also went bridge jumping. Somehow the bridge was a little more scary to jump off of rather than the waterall. Saturday night we went to the sand dunes! We were having a huge bonfire and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunatly a ranger came and gave us a 125$ ticket! Apparently there are only certain places in the dunes where you can have fires. The big bummer was that we were litterally about 20-25 feet from the boundary line. I have to admit, it was LOTS of fun while it lasted though! Today I gave a talk! This was our last sunday before the semester is ends. Everyone is leaving which is always really sad. This semester was a little bit worse then last semester because I was given the privledge of serving as the R.S. secratary. Through this calling I have been able to really get to know a lot of the girls. Obviously, it's a little harder to leave them when you have gotton to know them so well. I really have LOVED this calling though! Hopefully there are many more to come :) Anyway, I am sad to leave Rexburg but still SO excited to return home to my family!

A little SUMMER fun!!!

Yesterday was definitly a fun one! My R.S. president is getting married and we had her wedding shower yesterday. We ate lots of cake and played a lot of games! Alexis (Engaged one) Also wanted to have a huge slip n slide really late at night. A couple weeks ago I went to a big slip N slide and i knew a couple of the guys who were in charge of the whole thing. We went over to their place to see if we could borrow their hoses and luckily they said yes! We couldnt have done it with out them considering it took us about 7 hoses and we never would have been able to find that many. I also had a bunch of glow sticks (thanks to alyssia and her fun packages she sends me) so we broke them and put them all over our clothes. Unfortuantly the water washed it off but we still glew for a little while! Anyway, It was WAY fun. If you ever get the chance, definitly do slip N slide in the middle of the night when its really dark!

13 Days....

So, My experience here at BYU Idaho has been an AMAZING one! I leave for home in 13 days. I could never trade my experience here for anything. I have learned and grown so much! I have met so many AMAZING people. I will be so sad to leave them, but I look forward to come back in January! I have had the opportunity to hear talks from President Eyring, Elder Bednar, and Eldar Christopherson. This past year I got to visit Utah a couple of times. I finally saw temple square, I even got to do baptisms in the Salt Lake temple! I have had amazing room mates who have been so much fun also! This school year has been packed full of memories I hope I will never forget. I uploaded a picture from each month that I have been here!

A GIFT from a Best Friend

Well, Today I got to talk to my amazing old seminary teacher. We got onto the topic of blogs. She explained to me that it is a great way of keeping record of your life, especially if you arent a good journal writter (which is me). She told me that I could pretty much talk about anything. I thought I would just talk about a fun package I recieved in the mail today! So, I have a BEST friend. Her name is Alyssia Hudson. I have known her ever since kindergarden. We were next door neighbors. We have lived in different states for 5 years and in different cities for 10 years. Somehow we have remained best freinds throughout everything. She knows everything about me, she knows when to call if im feeling blue. I can tell her ANYTHING and she understands exactly what i mean! (at least she pretends that she does and thats all i need. lol) Anyway, Today i recieved an unexpected Package. Alyssia sent me everthing a college kid needs. Toilet Paper, Candy, Ice treys, Glow sticks, Huge wacky sunglasses.....the list goes on. She has done this a couple of times before! What an amazing freind! I am so glad Heavenly Father has blessed me with such amazing people in my life!
P.S It would be wonderfull if you could look over the messy room :)
